Spravato
Spravato is an FDA-approved esketamine nasal spray for adults with treatment-resistant depression. It’s also the only FDA-approved medication for Major Depressive Disorder (MDD) in adults who are experiencing acute suicidal thoughts or behaviors.
Esketamine works differently in the brain than traditional antidepressants, which means it may offer hope for people who haven’t found relief with other medications or who’ve experienced unwanted side effects. If that sounds familiar, esketamine could be a treatment option that’s better suited to you.
